Overcoming an Obstacle

>> Thursday, October 14, 2010

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of NMEDA. All opinions are 100% mine.

It is a sad fact that some of our fellow human beings are born with physical infirmities.  Everyday as I go to work, I always notice some of them on the road making a living despite the difficulty of doing it.   I also have a classmate in college who was born without legs.  He is just so lucky to have friends who carry him everyday he goes to class who happened to be in the third floor of the building but his physical condition did not stop him from his quest of getting a degree.  He graduated, got a job and proved to the world that he can do it like anybody who has a complete set of limbs.   His courage is worth emulating.  This inspiring person does not deserve the difficulty he had experienced.

That is why NMEDA exists for persons like him.  It is a non-profit trade association that aims to make life easier for people with infirmities through educating the consumers about products from a NMEDA qualified dealer since 1989.  This association is composed of mobility dealers, manufacturers and rehabilitation professionals that adhere to the safety standards of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.  They support the goal of providing safe, modified and reliable vehicles to give convenience to disabled persons.  Their member manufacturers and dealers produce and sell handicap vans and modified the same for disabled persons.  They customize these vans depending on the needs of every disabled person, helping them do things on their own without or with minimum assistance only thereby relieving their caregiver or family of the hassle of attending to their needs most of the time.  NMEDA  does not focus on disabled persons only but also on the elderly.  The products of a NMEDA dealer help improves their mobility making them independent and do things on their own.
Why choose NMEDA?  This is for the reason that it has Quality Assurance Program (QAP) dealers that is only recognized accreditation program for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry.  This program sticks to the principle of satisfying customers through a systematic and documented approach to quality.
Visit nmeda.org to know qualified dealers near your location and help our disabled love ones gain the road to independence.
